- Timothy 'T. V.' Smith（生於1956年4月5日）是一位英國創作歌手，1970年代後期曾是朋克樂隊The Adverts的一員。從那時起，他已經走向了其他樂隊，以及追求獨唱的事業。

T.V. Smith和Gaye Black（又名Gaye Advert）從1976年在德文郡的一個沿海小鎮Bideford搬到了倫敦，之後他們結婚了。廣告以1977年單曲“Gary Gilmore's Eyes”而聞名，1978年首張專輯“Crossing the Red Sea”與The Adverts廣受好評。繼成功的“千人演員”後續專輯“The Adverts”在1979年末分手後，史密斯組建了一支新的樂隊“史考特的探險家”。他們是：Erik Russell（吉他），Colin Stoner（貝司），Mel Wesson（鍵盤）和David Sinclair（鼓）。探險家於1980年發行了首張單曲“Tomahawk Cruise”（響應於在英國土地上安裝BGM-109“戰斧”巡航導彈），隨後發行了一張專輯“Great Explorer”。史密斯隨後錄製為獨唱藝術家，1983年發行了第五頻道專輯。
