- Kurt Elling（生於1967年11月2日）是美國爵士樂歌手，作曲家，作詞家和歌唱家。出生在伊利諾伊州芝加哥並在羅克福德長大的Elling首先通過他的父親成為音樂愛好者，他的父親是路德教會的Kapellmeister。長大後，Elling在合唱團演唱並演奏各種樂器，但直到他出席Gustavus Adolphus學院時才接觸爵士樂。 Elling就讀於芝加哥大學神學院的研究生院，但留校取得碩士學位一等獎，以追求爵士樂歌手的職業生涯。
