事業
絕望樂隊成立於2001年，當時新生教會牧師戴維·帕金斯（David Perkins）建議Jon Egan，Jared Anderson和Glenn Packiam在第一次絕望大會上與樂隊一起玩耍。絕食大會每年在六月和七月舉行，吸引了數千名大學生和高中生。
