My dog ate my homework, it's slimy and chewed,
Will the teacher believe me, or think it's not true?

My mom didn't feed him, and she's an adult.
How could anyone blame me? I had it all finished.
He thought it was spinach, all covered in salt.
My dog ate my homework, so I threw it away.
I put it in the garbage, and they took it today.
So don't call my parents, I know I can't prove it.
