Jacob Tyver's name was known as a thief of ill repute
His greed was nearly matched by all the bastards of his crew
They kept within their clutches great men's treasures as their prize
And stole from one another; but Tyver they dared not defy
Cedrick Mord lived by the sword and left no man alive
He fought the Spanish armament and none of them survived
From Ecuador to Singapore he set the world aflame
And not a man existed that did not fear his name
