Obituary是1984年10月在佛羅里達州坦帕市成立的美國死亡金屬樂隊。該樂隊最初名為Exe子手，1986年改名為Xecutioner，以避免與波士頓的th metal金屬樂隊Exe子手混淆，並於1988年再次將其名稱改為訃告。樂隊目前的陣容由歌手John Tardy，主音吉他手Kenny安德魯斯，節奏吉他手特雷弗佩雷斯，貝司手特里巴特勒和鼓手唐納德塔迪。訃告經歷了幾次陣容變更，佩雷斯和塔迪兄弟是唯一不變的成員。樂隊是死亡金屬音樂發展的基本行為，也是有史以來最成功的死亡金屬樂隊之一。迄今為止，訃聞已經發行了10張錄音室專輯，除了他們的1997年至2003年的分裂之外，他們繼續在世界各地進行現場表演。
