HIM（原名His Infernal Majesty，譯:惡魔陛下樂團） 是來自芬蘭赫爾辛基的搖滾樂隊，於1991年由Ville Valo（主唱），Mikko Lindström（簡稱Linde，吉他手）和Mikko Paananen（簡稱Mige，低音吉他手）組成。而Mika Gas Karppinen（簡稱Gas，鼓手）和Janne Burton Puurtinen（簡稱Burton，鍵盤樂器手）則分別於1999年同2001年加入。樂隊一共推出了七張專輯大碟，包括最新於2010年2月推出的Screamworks: Love in Theory and Practice, Chapters 1–13。

在2006年9月5日，美國唱片業協會向HIM發出金唱片證明，證明了樂隊的第五張專輯Dark Light在美國一共出售了500,000張。HIM推出的七張專輯中有五張榮獲芬蘭的白金唱片，當中第二張專輯Razorblade Romance獲得芬蘭的雙白金唱片及德國的白金唱片。

早期發展 （1991-1997）

在1991年，HIM正式成立。樂隊開初只是翻唱組合Kiss合唱團、Black Sabbath（黑色安息日）、Depeche Mode（潮流尖端）、Type O Negative及Danzig和歌。在1992年，HIM錄了一隻Demo，名為Witches and Other Night Fears，只有Valo才有拷貝。

由於不同的紛爭，早期樂隊的成員不停在轉換。在1995年，樂隊就只剩下了現任主音Ville Valo、吉他手Linde及低音吉他手Mige。1995年後期，樂隊再灌錄了一隻Demo，名為This Is Only The Beginning。這隻Demo一共推出了100隻，於赫爾辛基的特定商店發售。這隻Demo內所有歌曲都只有鼓聲和吉他聲伴隨著主唱Ville Valo的歌聲。1996年，樂隊第一張EP，666 Ways to Love:Prologue在芬蘭發行1000張。唱片封面的女士正是主唱Ville Valo的媽媽。這隻EP是在Hiili Hiilesmaa監製下於赫爾辛基的錄音室Finnvox Studios錄製。
