專輯名稱：Gimme More(Remix Single)
'Gimme More' is a dance-pop song recorded by American singer Britney Spears for her fifth studio album, Blackout. Released as the lead single from the album late in 2007, the song was written during the period of her second pregnancy. 'Gimme More' is her first released single since its predecessor, 'Someday (I Will Understand),' late in 2005. Dubbed as a comeback release for Spears, however, the song does not highlight lyrics about her musical return, instead it features racy content incorporating uptempo beats.
'Gimme More' was a commercial success hitting radio stations and digital stores during its pre-singles release. It was released in the form of CD in Australia on October 6, 2007. 'Gimme More' was successful in North America topping Billboard's Canadian chart and it reached number three in the US Billboard Hot 100—it is her highest-peaking single in the United States since her 1999 number-one debut '...Baby One More Time.' In Australia and the United Kingdom, it reached a peak of number three. Both in Australia and the US, the single was certified gold.
Gaining mixed reviews, mostly because of its club-natured melody and spoken intro, the single's accompanying stripper-inspired music video received media attention as well. The footage chiefly introduces Spears' pole dancing which was panned by critics. On the contrary, the video was welcomed as an improvement to her highly criticized 2007 MTV Video Music Awards opening.
