Adele rose to stardom in 2008 and is now being called a new Amy (a newer version of Amy Winehouse) along with Gabriella Cilmi and Duffy. Like most successful singers from Britain, she went to the BRIT School and had the same circle of friends as Kate Nash. Her most successful song is Chasing Pavements which got to no.2. Her least successful is Hometown Glory which charted at 32.
