Praising the Demi-Devā nām
There are a total of 16 phrases in this verse of 'Transference of Merits'. The contents of which asking those demi-devā nām and deities who were invited to listen to the Mahāmāyūrī Vidyārājñī Sutra to not forget to pay respect and to take refuge in the triple gem and to be compassionate to all sentient beings. Beside blessing sentient beings with merits and wisdom, the demi-devā nām and deities must also be steadfast in cultivating the three teachings of morality, meditative concentration and wisdom.
Only then can they be liberated from sufferings and reap happiness thus gaining the fruition of Bodhi soonest.

來聽法者應志心 擁護佛法使長存,
各各勤行世尊教 諸有聽徒來至此,
或在地上或居空 常于人世起慈心,
