- 王菲憑借重慶森林成功搶灘日本市場，既而受到日本遊戲商的青睞，主唱了《FINAL FANTASY 8》的主題曲《Eyes on me》。這張單曲亦曾在日本Oricon單曲榜上佔據第9位置，是有史以來，華語歌手在此榜單上的最好成績！而在香港中文電台2000年外語流行歌曲選舉裡，《Eyes on me》更名獲得「全年最受歡迎十大英文金曲」，亦大大為本地歌手爭光。
勿庸置疑的，王菲天後的這張EP單曲是中文唱片出版界之中，首張中日合作製作的遊戲單曲CD。這張單曲CD甫一推出，就在日本唱片市場蟬聯第一名達八個星期之久。可見這張遊戲單曲CD實力不差。
